A year at Huddle01: Quick 2022 recap ⏳

Bidding adieu to a good year, saying hello to even a greater one ⚡️

2022 has been a great year for us 🎊

2023 looks even better 🚀

We built, shipped and grew leaps and bounds in the past 365 days, doing everything from launching new features, improving our infrastructure to hosting Filecoin for the first time ever in India with FILBangalore 🇮🇳

So before we jump into the new year, here’s a quick rundown of all the good things that happened at Huddle01 in 2022 ↓

Development

• We launched some exciting new features in 2022:

  ⚒️ Token-gated meetings via NFTs, POAPs & Tokens

  ⚒️ Live-streaming feature that lets you broadcast on Livepeer, Twitch and YouTube

  ⚒️ Meeting Recordings storage enabled over IPFS & Filecoin

• Beta Launches:

  ⚡️ Video Conferencing Infra for builders - APIs, SDKs and iFrame

  ⚡️ Dashboard for organisations, DAOs and web3 communities to host and analyze their calls and meetings

• 2022 was also the year where we launched our apps on Android and Apple Store 🚀

• Our meeting platform was upgraded to chain-agnostic interaction as we extended our login support for multiple chains and DIDs: Solana, Reef, Keplr and Lens

• We launched Wallet01: Huddle01’s all-new open-source, multi-chain wallet package 📦

Partnerships

In 2022, we partnered with over 50 projects to power audio/video calls in their dApps using our infrastructure or for their community calls on our platform.

• We took part in ETHIndia 2022 as a hackathon partner and 28 exciting projects were built on top of the Huddle01 infrastructure. Here are the winners:

• For the holiday season we had run a 10-day hackathon for builders, from 23rd Dec - 1st Jan. Excited to judge the projects that have come out of it. Watch out for the results on 7th Jan.

Protocol

We have initiated our Phase 1 of protocol development and very soon will be ready to do a public launch. Our Co-founder & CTO, Susmit Lavania delivered a great keynote on the same at ETHIndia.

• Huddle01 hosted its first IRL event in India with Filecoin - FILBangalore. We had 1300+ attendees, 20+ Keynote Speakers & 10+ workshops across 2 days - 29th - 30th Nov’22.

• This holiday was a little special for builders with Huddle01 hosting a Holiday Quest and participants won cool NFT PFPs every day!

• We grew to a strong following of 11K+ users on Twitter and ~2000 members on Discord. All organic, thanks to our recent launches and events.

• We just revamped our weekly newsletter, how do you like the new look?
